Parkside Realty is a family business founded by the team responsible for many of Chicago’s major projects. Among them are three of the world’s most famous structures — Willis tower (aka Sears Tower), the John Hancock Center, and Cloud Gate (aka The Bean).
Span worked with founders Bob Wislow and Camille Julmy to design a unique mark that unites the three iconic structures while maintaining the essence of each. Inspired by visual ideas found in cubism, minimalism, and modernism, the mark expresses the historical significance of Parkside while looking to the future.
In our finest Chicago accent: Da Sears, da Bean, and da Hancock
Span was inspired by the works of Piet Mondrian, Pablo Picasso, and Stuart Davis.
