Ripple is shaping the future of finance, utilizing blockchain technology to unify a global payment infrastructure to move banking into the 21st century.
Span’s John Pobojewski designed and programmed a visualization tool in OpenFrameworks, allowing the internal design team to generate a never-ending, never-repeating collection of illustrations for brand materials across a variety of applications.
Three visual modes were explored — Voronoi: to express a distributed network using mathematical functions, Liquid: to express the flexibility of Ripple’s financial transitions, and Speed: to express how rapidly the blockchain system can exchange across the globe.
