Three distinct rental offerings exist at One Chicago — JDL’s reimagining of urban living. Rethinking residential real estate as high-end product design, Span designed a suite of brands that emphasize the differences in lifestyle between the apartments at 1 West Chicago, and the apartments and lofts at 23 West Chicago.
A custom monoline typeface was drawn to harmonize with the existing One Chicago brand and unite all three offerings together, while different graphic patterns give each offering its own attitude, creating both recognition and distinction within the market. All aspects of the branding were designed and produced by Span, including printed materials, signage, and a custom website built in Craft CMS and seamlessly integrated with Yardi’s RentCafé platform.
