Strategy
Span created a new brand identity and website for landscape design firm Hoerr Schaudt to more authentically reflect their approach of creating gardens that delight for both residential estates and commercial/civic spaces.
Working together with artist Tracy Taylor and brand strategist Valorie Born, Span created a modern yet approachable typographic system to work in concert with a series of original cut paper collages reflecting plant silhouettes and layering — two key aspects of Hoerr Schaudt’s practice.
The website is completely responsive, showcasing the portfolio and team on any device.
Cut-paper collages created by Tracy Taylor are used throughout different materials to frame content.
Span worked closely with Hoerr Schaudt to identify an authentic linguistic voice.
The website, developed in Craft and completely content-managed by the Hoerr Schaudt team, presents their immersive portfolio of project photography in a vertically-scrolling visual story.
A rigorous set of marketing templates streamline and unify how different partners respond to new business requests.
