This installation, originally done for the 3rd annual TYPEFORCE exhibition, is an experiment in how humans and machines interact. A dynamic digital "eye" is projected together with a series of messages that address the viewer in an emotional dialogue. The more the viewer moves, the more engaged (and engaging) the installation becomes. Since all responses are pre-written, the engagement is imaginary — the deep, personal, emotional connection is ultimately just a fraud.
