Designed while at Thirst

The School of the Art Institute Chicago and Balloon created the Collectors' Xchange as a forum for discussions connecting art and design between collectors, designers, artists, and patrons.

This interactive visualization displays words spoken inside the forum in realtime. The transcribed phrases are projected on top of two diffused light bands that form a visual X. Visual phrases come alive as the Xchange both shares what happens inside, while inviting passers by inside to learn more and participate.
