Cobbler Square Lofts is one of Chicago’s original loft-style multifamily residences, set within the historic Dr. Scholl’s Manufacturing Company headquarters, built in 1880. Now under the care of JDL Development, the property is being thoughtfully restored and modernized in phases—starting with the landmark lofts and key amenity spaces—to reintroduce this architectural icon for a new generation.

Span reimagined the brand to meet JDL’s elevated standard, crafting an identity rooted in classic luxury. A leather boot icon nods to the building’s past, while fashion-inspired typography adds a refined, contemporary edge. The brand spans every touchpoint—from logo to leasing materials, advertising, and a custom interactive portal with real-time availability powered by Yardi v2.
