Designed while at Thirst

While at Thirst, Bud Rodecker worked with Michelangelo Sabatino of the Illinois Institute of Technology to design the system and first three editions of Prometheus.

Prometheus is a peer-reviewed journal that presents research-in-progress developed for the annual student-run symposium. The event is organized by the PhD Program of the College of Architecture, IIT. Each year, PhD students are selected to serve as editors of the journal.

Our system is designed to accommodate content from many different sources with a wide range of imagery that is heavily cited. The underlying proportion and grid structure are directly inspired by the facade of Crown Hall.
